I got into the events industry because I love to party in style.

I have worked here since June 2010.

I was attracted to this particular role because of its specialism in evening and live events and because it was a hybrid role combining my love for selling and delivering highly creative events.

Not many people know that I am a classically trained musician and have a love for composition.

My worst experience at an event was when a chocolate fountain exploded over a guest.

If there’s one thing I’ve learnt it’s back up and check up.

The best event I’ve been involved in was the launch party for Shrek The Musical for Dreamworks.

If I could do it all over again I would always rely on spellchecker. Never write incontinence when you mean inconvenience, especially when emailing a client.

The one thing I can’t stand is gerberas.

Outside of work I spend my time watching films, framing art, travelling and reading.

If money were no object I would have a wing in my mansion purely to house my enormous collection of bow ties.

The one event I will never miss is London Fashion Week.

The next 12 months will be full of colour as we prepare for Casa Brazil at Somerset House.

If I could switch places with anyone else in the industry it would be Vanessa Draper, head of events for BSkyB.

If I ruled the event industry I would, well, after this interview it is going to be clear that I already do?
