Organiser CMPi deemed the show a "success" as it attracted 4,041 visitors from 16 - 17 September at Birmingham's NEC.
The same week Square Meal Venues and Events attracted 14% , highlighting industry growth despite the credit crunch.
Event UK, which covers the UK events market, featured more than 300 exhibitors and there was a 21% rise in exhibitor bookings for next year's show.
"The changes we brought to the show - making it a two day event, introducing new features, increasing marketing support and introducing a new identity - have all contributed to create an enjoyable and more atmospheric show," said event director Duncan Reid.
Event UK was previously known as the National Venue Show and was organised by Waypoint Exhibitions until last year when CMPi acquired the show.
