The north London event welcomed clients of the theming and event management company to experience an adult version of a children’s birthday party. A party bus picked guests up from Willesden Green Underground station, which drove them to Theme Traders’ main warehouse near Cricklewood station.
Highlights of the night included a graffiti room complete with edible Play-Doh, a giant game of pass the parcel that ended in treats from caterer The London Kitchen and a giant food fight to the soundtrack of Gladiators.
Handley told Event: "The idea was to produce kids' memory of a party, rather than a party itself, which gave us the opportunity to make it completely random, distorted and bigger than it actually would have been.
"These events are an opportunity for us to do something we really want to do and showcase, rather than what clients ask us to do. It’s all the things we dream up throughout the year in one really condensed experience."
