Using various online weather services, the portal mirrors the weather conditions of locations across the globe, from the desert climate of Dubai to the bustling streets of San Francisco.

It is comprised of three rooms - hot, cold and big, and as such is able to replicate the weather conditions of up to three different locations at any one time.

The experiences are created with the help of wind and temperature simulations as well as the latest in sound and image technology.

The portal is designed to help travelers prepare for their journey as well as highlight the various international destinations in which the airport offers direct routes to.

The activation is located in Terminal Five of the international airport, and it is available for members of the public to experience until 31 August.
