The giant caterpillar descends on Birmingham Bullring today (9 April) and will be available for viewing at Glasgow Silverburn shopping centre on 14 April.

A video created by Nestlé Cereals outlines the construction process from start to finish, and it illustrates how the giant caterpillar was transported to London and placed within Brighton Churchill Square, where it was launched.

The giant sculpture is made of the company’s Shreddies, Cheerios and Shredded Wheat cereals, and is designed to educate parents about the nutritional benefits associated with the consumption of such cereals.

This comes at a time when research by Nestlé has found that 71 percent of children refuse to eat a plate of greens, however more than half have eaten creepy crawlies.
