Hosted at the Flux Innovation Lounge in east London, Future 15 Presented By Studio Output and Engage officially opened at a press preview. Brand marketers and agency representatives will be able to book tours of the studio until the festival closes on 20 February.
The two agencies chose to display technology that can be used to create more immersive consumer experiences, such as virtual reality, projection mapping and imaging, 3D printing, interactive robotics, wearable tech and holograms. Event partners showcasing their innovations include LG Electronics, Projection Artworks and Funktronic Labs.
Future 15 will also host a number of workshops, including ‘Branding in a post-digital age’; Life beyond the screen’; Keeping innovation innovative’; and ‘Where does marketing end and technology start?’ These sessions will also include talks and panel discussions, which will aim to solve brand experience problems and explore key trends.
Steve Blyth, Engage’s founder and managing director, said: "We’re delighted to be collaborating with Studio Output for the Future 15 pop-up. We’re uniting to exhibit the ideal combination of innovative content and software, with 2015’s state-of-the-art hardware and technology developments, and our aim is to arm our partners, clients and visitors with the right tools and insights to propel their businesses to success throughout 2015 and beyond."
Rob Coke, brand strategy director at Studio Output, added: "This unique series of talks, workshops and demos will provide guests with enviable insight into the combined power of two hot topics: what happens when fantastic branded content meets the latest interactive technology.
"As a new era of brand experience dawns, we’re finding new, exciting ways to engage with audiences. We’re really excited to bring this technology to life using creative content and inspire its future application."
