Giraffe Events Solutions has been formed by Rachael Keeling, Mark Harrington and Kat Farys, who met eight years ago and have worked in the event industry since, predominantly for hotel brands including Devere and Hilton Worldwide.
The full-service event management company will look to produce such events as product launches, staff and gala dinners, themed events, award ceremonies and conferences.
Harrington told Event while the initial team is small, Giraffe will look to expand in the coming months. "At the moment it is early days, but we have been working with a couple of graduates who have come to us wanting experience and an insight into setting up their own companies.
"We hope to be in a position very soon to recruit further team members, including event managers."
He added Giraffe has already secured a series of work. It will be hosting events in September in Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield, in partnership with Winning Pitch, which supports new businesses.
"We are pitching for work at the moment with charity and telecoms clients," Harrington said. "But we have decided as a company we do not want to be constricted to one sector."
