SAMSUNG'S GEAR VR

A new rival to both the Oculus Rift headset and Google Cardboard, the Samsung Gear VR is a sleek and comfortable headset that, when loaded with the tech brand's Galaxy Note 4, creates a virtual reality experience. A large screen provides the wearer with a 96-degree field of view, ideal for cinema, gaming and immersive experiences.

XYLOBANDS

These colourful wristbands can carry a logo or brand message that will transform a crowd into a digital light display through wireless, radio-controlled LED technology. Xylobands can also be RFID-enabled to integrate social media and harness data. Clients have included Coca-Cola, Red Bull, Facebook, Coldplay, Jay-Z and Rihanna.

SONY'S SMARTEYEGLASS ATTACH

Sony's device can transform a variety of regular eyewear into wearable technology.

A mini projector displays helpful information onto the user's line of sight, while its discreet size and low weight combat the style problems encountered by Google Glass. Mass production of the tech is scheduled to start this year.
