
The team was praised for its outstanding journalism and an incessant quest to innovate. Yasmin Arrigo, editor-in-chief of the title, was named Meetings & Events Editor of the Year for the third consecutive year.
Event’s 18th birthday supplement – - was shortlisted for Supplement of the Year for Meetings & Events, while reporter Katie Deighton was a finalist in the Best Newcomer to Business Travel or Meetings & Events Journalism category.
Emma Platt, Event and C&IT’s art director, was shortlisted in Design Team of the Year for the , however claimed the gong for her work on its sister title.
C&IT also picked up a string of awards, with senior reporter Jack Carter claiming Technology Features Journalist of the Year, and associate editor Susie Harwood winning both Meetings & Events News Journalist of the Year and the peer-nominated Journalists’ Business Travel or Meetings & Events Journalist of the Year.
Arrigo said: "I am so proud of the Event team for winning the coveted title of Editorial Team of the Year. We are delighted that our mix of news, trend-hunting articles and incessant desire to innovate was commended by the judges."
