Background
With more than 17 years in the event industry, Avery stepped up from head of production to managing director at Amplify in 2011. The company’s founder, Jonathan Emmins, praises Avery’s creativity and realism, while his background at agency Making Waves and as venue manager at Goldsmiths College Students Union has helped fire his inventiveness.
Achievements in 2013
Leading Amplify’s work on the launch of PlayStation’s PS4 console has been a major conquest for Avery. The work has spanned global media announcements, media briefings and immersions, conferences, trade and consumer shows – such as Paris Games Week – pop-ups, brand spaces and sampling. Creating a unique installation in Kuala Lumpur for the Nike Foundation was another highlight, along with delivery of Innocent’s Inspires series of educational workshops.
