McCormac previously freelanced for the agency as senior producer, and has previous experience working for the likes of RPM and Exposure.

Amplify has also announced four new hires who will join McCormac in the production department. Senior Producer Adam Painter comes on board from The Live Firm, immediately working on a global campaign for Google and client Turtle Beach Systems.

Claire Hewitt, who will be the lead producer on two European projects for YouTube and festival activations for Southern Comfort, joins from Seen. Richie Gage returns to Amplify after two previous stints with the agency, and will oversee the annual Playstation Media Preview in Paris.

Finally Leila Padidar, formerly of Miss Jones & Co, will be working across Playstation and Red Bull.

McCormac said: "Since taking over as head of production I have been keen to both grow and shape a team that is made up of a strong producers at all levels. Luckily I inherited a fantastic team who, alongside our new additions, have a great depth of experience and knowledge.

"Our combined creative, production and technical skill-sets ensure we are able to go above and beyond with brilliant events to drive campaigns and content."

Jonathan Emmins, founder of Amplify, added: "Amplify has had another successful 12 months, including 12 pitch wins including Google, and Activision, and being named Event’s Brand Experience Agency of the Year.

"This growth has included European and international expansion, as we see over 50% of our production now happening outside the UK. As a result we’ve focused on our already best-in-class production team with a number of senior level recruits, staying true to our belief that through experience brands can make truly meaningful connections with their audiences."
