Eurostar, the high-speed rail service, is on the hunt for up to two agencies to work on its global media planning and buying account.

The brand currently works with Dentsu Aegis Network-owned iProspect, which will be repitching for the business.

A spokeswoman for Eurostar said the company may appoint up to two shops to work across its communication strategy, offline and online media.

Eurostar has enlisted ID Comms to assist with the process.

The spokeswoman added: "As part of our commitment to the ongoing development of Eurostar’s media and marketing arrangements, we periodically evaluate all marketing service suppliers.

"We are currently reviewing our communication strategy, offline and online media planning, and buying partners for Eurostar globally. We are taking an open approach to reviewing the marketplace and the review process will allow us flexibility to appoint up to two partners who can fulfil separate scopes of work, across all areas."

In 2016, Eurostar worked with AKQA on an Instagram campaign to promote a new train.
