A new Eurosport Player application developed for the iPhone in the UK is now broadcasting the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games and Eurosport’s 24-hour coverage, featuring live action and highlights.
Other major sporting events this year, such as French Open tennis, Tour de France, MotoGP, World Superbikes, British Superbikes and the World Touring Car Championships, will also be broadcast on British Eurosport and British Eurosport 2 TV channels and available to iPhone users.
Eurosport group chairman, Laurent-Eric Le Lay, said: This new app launch will further reinforce Eurosport’s presence in the online community, making the best sport entertainment more accessible than ever. Having the Vancouver Winter Olympics live in your hand will inspire all sports fans."
The two British Eurosport channels are available by downloading the Eurosport Player application via iTunes or from the App store, with users paying £2.39 per month or £23.99 per year subscription to access content from the TV channels.
