Readers of the News International title will receive three energy saving gadgets including plugs that automatically switch off electrical equipment and a showersave device, which regulates temperature and the flow of water to help cut utility bills.
According to E.on, readers could benefit from combined savings of over £9m on utility bills a year by using the gadgets, which are worth over £30.
The energy provider says the products can save over 26,000 tonnes of carbon from being released into the atmosphere a year, the equivalent of over 480 million kettles being boiled.
The promotion will be supported with TV, press and digital advertising launching today.
The offer is part of the News of the World's 'Go Green & Save' campaign, which launched two years ago and has given readers cash in return for their recycled mobile phones.
Jim Macdonald, commercial director of E.on’s retail business, said: "At E.on, we're always looking for innovative ways to help people save energy in their homes.
"This collaboration with the News of the World is a hugely exciting step for us. It provides a great opportunity for people who might not see themselves as particularly 'green' to try these devices and see how easy it can be to save energy."
News of the World readers will be able to pick up the products free, with a coupon, from over 500 Sainsbury’s stores.
Earlier this month E.on launched a press campaign challenging British Gas' advertising claims that it is the "cheapest standard gas and electricity" provider.
