E.ON to drop FA Cup sponsorship

LONDON - Energy giant E.ON will end its sponsorship of the FA Cup after this season's final in May.

E.ON to drop FA Cup sponsorship

E.ON, which has also been a sponsor of Ipswich Town Football Club, had leveraged its sponsorship through its 'Carbon Footyprint' campaign, which helped fans reduce their carbon footprint when travelling to games.

Last season, E.ON replaced the campaign with a family-focused drive, featuring members of the Redknapp family.

The energy company will now seek further sponsorship opportunities.
