The office is the ninth for Enterprise in Asia-Pacific, with one more set to open in the region before the end of the year. The group is also eyeing up three undisclosed acquisition targets.
The Shanghai office will be headed up by Roger Shieh, who moves over from Taiwan where he has been managing director of the office there for the past five years.
The office in China opens after much development work in China prior to launch, and starts with a number of major clients across the mainland.
Dave Allen, CEO of Enterprise IG Worldwide, said, "China is unquestionably one of the key markets for brands in the next decade. We launched in Tokyo and Bangkok earlier this year, both of which have been very successful and we expect the same result in Shanghai."
