EMS wins six figure aerospace contract

Event Marketing Solutions (EMS) has won a six-figure, three year contract to build and manage a roadshow vehicle for the University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre with Boeing (AMRC).

The AMRC is sponsored by Boeing, Rolls Royce, BAE Systems and the government. It specialises in research and technological innovation within the aerospace industry.

EMS will provide a hi-technology touring exhibition vehicle that will be used during the AMRC's educational, promotional and sponsor-led activities for the next three years.

The vehicle is 13.6m x 7m and will feature a 3.5ton, machining centre from global machine tool company Mori Seiki, as well as a virtual reality room that enables visitors to ‘walk' around the inside of an aeroplane's engine using individual headgear.
