, which launched in September, is available exclusively for customers aged 11-18 and is enabled by Solo. This means it can be used in cash machines and shops, but does not allow the account holder to spend money that is not in their account.
As part of the deal, claimed to be the first of its kind, EMI artists such as Lily Allen, Athlete, The Thrills and Supergrass are allowing their album artwork to be featured on the front of the bankcards.
For a charge of £5, account holders can personalise their bankcard by choosing an image from a library of current album artwork and EMI's label logos, including NOW!, Parlophone, and Positiva.
Giles Harris, head of music and brands at EMI, said: "EMI has been behind some of the most eye-catching and memorable album covers, and it's great that with this account young people are able to carry them around with them wherever they go."
Mark Worthington, head of youth banking at NatWest, said: "Along with personalising ringtones, Facebook pages and clothes, now young people can show their individuality by putting a favourite image on their bankcard, making having a current account more fun."
