EMI music videos to stream on AOL

EMI has signed a deal to stream music videos of established and up-and-coming artists via AOL's portal.

AOL users in the UK, France and Germany will be able to watch more than 1000 videos from the record label's artists. The service will be free to use, paid for by third-party advertising that will run before each video is shown.

All future releases will be available, as will back-catalogue videos and exclusive 'AOL sessions' by EMI artists including Coldplay, Corinne Bailey Rae, Norah Jones and Lily Allen.

EMI is the world's biggest independent music company, with about 1300 artists on its books and operating in 50 countries.
