Emap centralises insert sales in Emap Advertising

LONDON – Emap Advertising has taken over responsibility from Emap's Peterborough sales team for selling inserts on 21 magazines, meaning it is now able to sell inserts across all 52 Emap consumer magazines.

The centralisation brings magazines such as Angling Times and Yours to join the 31 titles, including FHM and Heat, already being sold by Emap Advertising.

According to Emap, the entire portfolio of titles offers access to nearly 12m UK adults every month.

The division headed by Gerry Kyei, head of inserts at Emap Advertising, has taken on more staff, but there have been no redundancies at Peterborough.

Kyei said: "We are able to offer more audiences, larger numbers and a more efficient way of buying inserts.

"Our expanded team means we can also dedicate more time to constructing the most effective package for our customers."
