Emap and Channel 4 have abandoned their planned joint venture teen portal Slam.com after the two partners rethought the venture.

LONDON (Brand Republic) - Emap and Channel 4 have abandoned their planned joint venture teen portal Slam.com after the two partners rethought the venture.

The companies will continue to work together to develop ideas targeting the teen market, that could be promoted and carried over the companies’ existing brands such as T4 and Emap’s youth titles.

The Slam.com staff are to be redeployed within Emap Digital.
