He will report to AdConnection’s chief operating officer Catherine Becker and managing director Declan Reddington.

Parkus headed Starcom MediaVest’s sports sponsorship division SMG Sports, alongside SMG director Jamie Pearson.

He joined Starcom MediaVest Group as director six years ago. Prior to that, he was a director at ZenithOptimedia for seven years.

Catherine Becker said: "We are delighted to have appointed Elliot as a senior member of the management team at AdConnection. It is a real coup to get someone of his calibre and he will be helping to take us to the next stage of our growth."
