Earls Court and Olympia earnings slide in first half of 2011

Earls Court and Olympia venues saw earnings dip 9% in the first half of 2011, according to figures from parent firm Capco.

Earnings (before income, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) came in at £12m and were ‘in line with expectations’.

, but the venues have still managed to pull in 31 new shows, including Landscape, London Pet Show and Retail Business Technology.

According to Capco’s interim report, works at are continuing "on schedule and on budget," with the new space set to be operational in early 2012.

The same report values Earls Court as a £133m exhibition venues and Olympia as being worth £97m.
