EA Games responds to glitch with Tiger Woods Jesus walk video

LONDON - EA Games has hit back at a video posted on YouTube highlighting a glitch in its Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 game, which allows the golfer to walk on water, by creating its own ad showing the real Tiger Woods appearing to do just that.

A user, who calls himself Levinator 25, posted a video on YouTube of the Tiger Woods game, highlighting a glitch which allows players to hit shots while standing on water hazards.

Levinator laughs as the Tiger Woods character takes what he calls the Jesus shot and says "Jesus prevails" when the ball lands perfectly in the hole.

EA Games has responded to the clip with its own YouTube video featuring the real Tiger Woods. The video shows the original clip and then text appears saying: "Levinator 25. You seem to think your Jesus shot was a glitch in the game."

The real Tiger Woods then takes off his shoes and walks across the water to perform the perfect shot, as seen in the game.

It ends as text stats: "It's not a glitch. He's just that good."

The clip has been viewed over 260,000 times on YouTube so far.
