Kelly joined Dutton Merrifield in April as client services director, but was appointed managing director at the end of June. She was previously a consultant at WPP Group's Enterprise IG and also founded and managed top-30 design agency Pile Probert Kelly, until merging it with PCI in 1998.
Davies was appointed creative director at Dutton Merrifield last year, having already been with the company for three years as senior designer. Prior to that, he held senior design roles at The Idea Works in Bath, and at Jarvis White.
Merrifield, who has taken on the role of chairman in the reshuffle, said: "As with any agency, it's sensible to review the management structure from time to time. With Felicity and Steve already on board, and with their talents so evident for all to see, it made eminent sense for us to involve them more formally in the management of the business."
The new board structure comes into place as the agency completes a period of repositioning with its interactive arm now been disbanded and the agency focusing exclusively on its core skills of visual and verbal brand identity and design.
