Duncan George to leave GCap

LONDON - Duncan George, commercial director at GCap Media, is to leave the company without a job to go to.

George, who resigned today, took up the position with responsibility for driving London and national revenue when the group was created in 2005 through the merger of Capital Radio and GWR.

He had previously worked at Capital Radio as sales director but left in 1997 to head up GWR's sales operation where he set up its national sales business, Opus.

George, who was also in charge of developing the group's digital revenue proposition with the creation of a GCap Interactive division, will leave the company on June 8.
