Drury has been promoted to the role from head of commercial operations at the shopping search engine, and has worked for the company for over three years.
He will take responsibility for all UK operations and will oversee Kelkoo UK's rapidly expanding staff, which has doubled in size in the first six months of 2003.
At the same time, Jeremy Crooks has been promoted to director of media and agency sales, from his current job as director of business development. Crooks has worked on Kelkoo's advertising, brand and sponsorship development including partnerships with Google, MSN and AskJeeves.
Pierre Chappaz, CEO of , said that the new appointments were a sign of the company's success.
"Kelkoo is now listed among Nielsen's top 10 internet properties and the UK site receives more than 10m monthly visitors. Glen and Jeremy have both played key roles in achieving these results. The UK is now generating over 50% of the total revenue for the whole Kelkoo group and we look forward to seeing further growth under Glen's leadership," he said.
Kelkoo has a presence in nine countries across Europe and helps shoppers to find the best deals on the internet by comparing different sites.
