The Big Brooklyn Bowl Date, taking place on 17 July, will see 300 men and 300 women welcomed into the venue with a beer courtesy of Greenwich Meantime Craft Brewery, ahead of a winner stays-on tournament to crown the king or queen of Brooklyn Bowl. Prizes will be given out on the night including four tickets to see Fun Lovin Criminals perform at The O2.
For those getting knocked out early on in the competition, they will be able to enjoy an exclusive party where the Brooklyn Bowl’s resident DJ will transform the evening into a club night.
DoingSomething also revealed the Big Brooklyn Bowl Date is to become a regular fixture in the venue’s calendar.
Ray Duhaney, general manager of Brooklyn Bowl, said: "We’re delighted to be working with a dating site as innovative and fun as DoingSomething. Bowling is the perfect activity to do as a two. It’s a retro date idea re-imagined in a modern context."
DoingSomething's previous activity and events have included building an igloo at the top of The Shard and breaking a world record for the world’s biggest ping-pong date.
