The DMA originally won the contract with Oftel in 1999 to manage the TPS and FPS, which allows people to register their wish not to receive unsolicited sales and marketing calls or faxes.
Colin Lloyd, chairman of TPSL, said: "Since winning the original contract in 1999, we have worked hard to ensure that the service offered to consumers and businesses has remained at a consistently high level and we are delighted that TPSL's success in running the TPS and FPS has been recognised and rewarded."
Last year an NOP survey conducted showed that 96% of consumers were satisfied with TPS service and 93% with FPS.
Ofcom said that the provision of an accessible, reliable and comprehensive service provided by TPSL was an example of Ofcom working with industry to protect the interests of citizen-consumers.
Neil Buckley, head of consumer policy, added: "Ofcom is committed to ensuring that suitable consumer protection measures are in place. The provision of accessible, reliable and comprehensive registers by TPSL is an example of Ofcom working with industry to protect the interests of citizen-consumers."
