Anna Hill, Disney UK’s most senior marketer for the past nine years, has left the company.

Her departure after 19 years in various roles at the entertainment giant was not pre-announced, but a Disney spokesman confirmed that she left the company on 30 April. He declined to comment further or explain who was now in charge of UK marketing.

Hill told ±±¾©Èü³µpk10: "I have decided to leave after 19 brilliant years and will be starting something else very exciting a little later this year. All is very amicable, but it's just time for me to move on to new adventures."

There have been a number of organisational changes at the very top of Disney’s management ranks following the significant absorption of Fox’s film studio and TV business in March. It is not clear whether these contributed to Hill’s departure.

Of the 19 years spent at Disney, more than 12 years were in marketing roles, with Hill initially focusing on its TV channels business.

Her most recent position was vice-president and chief marketing officer for the UK, Ireland and the Nordics.

Hill also managed Disney’s TV business in the UK between January 2011 and March 2013.
