One of the world's most well-known media and entertainment groups, the Walt Disney Corporation, is facing an increasing boardroom crisis this week.
The last remaining Disney family member quit the company, vice-chairman Roy Disney, quit on Sunday, to be followed by close ally and another board member, Stanley Gold, yesterday.
Both Gold and Disney have heaped criticism on the corporation's chairman and chief executive, Michael Eisner, and urged him to leave the company.
In recent years, its theme parks have seen attendances fall and a string of movie flops signalled a change in fortunes for the once major force in global entertainment.
