Discovery and IPC link up for home and design show

LONDON - IPC Media's Living etc title is to lend its brand to a television programme on Discovery Travel & Living, a channel that reaches 15m subscribers in the UK and Latin America.

'Living etc' is a 15-part, 30-minute series looking at the world of home and design and will feature key members of the Living etc editorial team including editor Suzanne Imre.

The programme, which is produced by UK-based Twofour Productions, will launch in late 2005. Presenters will share their visions and tips for creating modern homes and gardens.

Paul Welling, the channel director and vice-president at Discovery Travel & Living UK, said: "In bringing the vision of the Living etc magazine to television, we're delivering a series which we're confident will appeal to our audience and the magazine's readers."

The latest commission by Discovery is part of its effort to develop more UK programming and fill the gap left after its deal with Channel 4 ended earlier this year.
