Liverpool Victoria, the Bournemouth-based financial services group,
is stepping-up its direct marketing activity and has added two agencies
to its roster.
The company, which last year mailed one-in-six UK households, has
appointed Black Cat and Sheffield-based Scope to its roster. Black Cat
will handle new activity for Liverpool Victoria’s Mutual Investment Bond
and Tax Free Savings Plan.
Scope is set to manage customer communications for its individual
savings accounts (ISAs).
The direct marketing activity through Black Cat and Scope will back
products which have not received sustained marketing support until
now.
The group’s current agencies, WWAV Rapp Collins and McCann-Erickson
Bristol, will remain on its roster. WWAV handles direct marketing for
personal loans, credit cards, home and motor insurance and term
assurance.
McCann-Erickson is responsible for direct marketing of the Frizell
brand, which is owned by Liverpool Victoria.
David Gibson, Liverpool Victoria’s head of direct marketing, said:
’Broadening our agency roster is evidence of increasing investment in
direct marketing, and the need for a specialist approach to each of our
products.’
Liverpool Victoria is undergoing a process of expanding its range of
services following the acquisition of Frizell four years ago.
