Oxfam is embarking on a direct mail campaign designed to highlight the plight of people suffering from food shortages in Southern Africa. The fundraising push, involving more than 450,000 mailings to the charity's donor database, is called 'Grow Bag', and focuses on an Oxfam project in Malawi, where new farming techniques could help alleviate the crisis.
