Direct: Betfair readies Euro 2008 work

Betfair is rolling out a multichannel pan-European campaign to coincide with the UEFA Euro 2008 football tournament.

The 'Join the home of football betting' activity has been devised by WDMP and is being developed for nine markets across Europe, including Italy, Spain and Sweden. It is intended to position Betfair as the best place to bet on football matches.

The activity will be rolled out across a mix of promotional channels including outdoor, press and online, prior to and during the tournament. Direct mail packs will be sent to known football betting customers on the Betfair database.
