Digital: RAF in film drive to lure recruits

The RAF is launching a 'warts-and-all' online film series portraying life in the field in a bid to attract suitable recruits.

The film, created by LIDA, follows II Squadron of the RAF Regiment in Basra, Iraq.

Episodes will illustrate the RAF's experiences on the front line over six months. Managed by the COI, they will appear on rafcareers.com, social network Bebo and video site YouTube.

The activity comes in response to prospective recruits' requests for an insight to life in the force.
