Digital: Fox's Epic Movie in MySpace push

Twentieth Century Fox is promoting the DVD launch of Epic Movie through a customised community on MySpace.

The company is using the social network to launch a competition giving the site's 9.9m unique monthly users the chance to win a white-water rafting holiday.

To enter the competition, film fans are being asked to upload a picture of themselves dressed as a character from Epic Movie.

MySpace users will also be able to view an exclusive trailer of the movie, download branded screensavers, wallpapers and ringtones and play a themed game.

Last month easyJet tied up with MySpace to launch a community urging consumers to upload photos and videos of holiday destinations.
