TrainFX screens will provide news reports, travel updates, train operator messages and video surveillance footage alongside ads on trains across the UK.

Former CBS International chief executive Tom Goddard launched Digicom as a digital out-of-home sales house at the beginning of 2008. It has since picked up the national sales contract for Alan Sugar's digital screen company Amscreen.

New contracts are expected to be signed soon.

Sales at Digicom are led by former CBS Outdoor head of sales Chris Forrester, now Digicom's managing director of sales and marketing.

TrainFX was bought by investment group RAM from the digital media owner VMG in April and is due to launch its digital out-of-home screens to the market in the first quarter of next year.

Earlier this month, TrainFX bought the assets of ASG, the digital out-of-home media owner formally known as Avanti Screenmedia.

It has not yet been confirmed whether Digicom will also do the sales for the former Avanti portfolio.
