Dentsu acquires US digital network Innovation Interactive

NEW YORK - Dentsu Inc, the American arm of Japan's biggest agency-holding company, has acquired the digital network Innovation Interactive for an undisclosed sum in an effort to bolster its online capabilities in the US.

Innovation Interactive comprises the award-winning digital marketing agency 360i, paid search-management technology SearchIgnite, and Netmining, an audience optimization platform.

The company currently has more than 300 employees, based in nine offices across the US, Canada, Japan and Belgium.

It will continue to be led by joint chief executives Will Margiloff and Bryan Wiener, who will report to Tim Andree, the president and chief executive of Dentsu Holdings USA.

Innovation Interactive manages over $400m of digital media annually for clients including Reckitt Benckiser, NBC Universal and MTV Networks.
