Inside Edge launches on 11 March with a target audience of 28- to 55-year-old men who are interested in gambling as a leisure pursuit.
The title is edited by James Hipwell, the former editor of the Daily Mirror's City Slicker column.
Inside Edge, a monthly title with a cover price of £3.99, will offer content to enable men to make informed bets on sports, financial spreads and casino games. It will have an initial print run of 55,000.
The launch of Inside Edge follows a liberalisation of the UK's gambling laws that will open the way for a glut of casinos across the country.
Its features content will include contributions from gambling experts such as the former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino and Ryder Cup golfer Ronan Rafferty.
Hipwell said: "There are tens of thousands of bookmakers, spread betting firms, both online and traditional casinos, as well as poker websites across the world. But until now there hasn't been a quality magazine in this country to help gamblers turn the odds in their favour."
