The private karaoke event, held in London to celebrate the start of Wimbledon, welcomed a mix of trade contacts, corporate partners, friends of the brand and celebrities with a reception followed by the Baseline Sessions. The room featured Europe's largest glitter ball and Williams surprised an unsuspecting karaoke guest by joining in for a duet to Irene Cara’s What a Feeling. She followed this with a performance of Taylor Swift's Shake It Off.

Serena Williams said: "We’ve done this Delta karaoke event a few times before, where we bring people together and just try to have a little fun before beginning a two-week tournament."

Delta head of marketing EMEA Claudia Neuhoff commented on the activation, stating that: "London is a big priority for Delta on the Transatlantic and we wanted to take the opportunity to work with Serena Williams, who we have been working with since 2013, to invite valued customers to spend time with her.
