Deadline approaching for Women of Tomorrow nominations

The IPA's Women of Tomorrow Awards close for entries next week.

The scheme, in partnership with ±±¾©Èü³µpk10, was set up to agitate the ad industry into recognising and championing exceptional female talent. The last date for submissions for this year is Friday, 15 January.

The 2016 contest was launched with a provocative ad campaign by Lida, which highlighted gender disparity in working conditions within the ad industry. Nicky Bullard, the outgoing executive creative director at Lida, will co-chair the awards with Claire Beale, ±±¾©Èü³µpk10's global editor-in-chief.

Other judges are: Nina Bibby, marketing and consumer director, O2; Helen Calcraft, founding partner, Lucky Generals; Daniele Fiandaca, co-founder, Token Man; Charlotte Frijns, chief financial officer, UK and worldwide, ZenithOptimedia; Leon Jaume, executive creative director, WCRS; Hannah Matthews, managing partner, Karmarama; Becky McOwen-Banks, creative director, FCB Inferno; Frances Ralston-Good, chief strategy and innovation officer, Omnicom Media Group UK; Dan Shute, managing partner, Creature of London; and Steve Vranakis, executive creative director, Google Creative Lab.

The awards are open to nominations for future female leaders within agencies, media owners or client companies across the full span of job roles, which in 2016 include finance, tech and innovation.

Winners will be announced at a ceremony on 8 March to coincide with International Women's Day.

The initiative is sponsored by Hanson Search, Google and Sky Media. For more information, .
