Women of Tomorrow open for nominations

Men talk confidently about asking for a pay rise while women describe how nervous they are in that position in a new film that exposes the differences in the way the two genders approach their advertising careers.

Lida and M&C Saatchi created the work for ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 and the IPA to launch the Women of Tomorrow 2016 initiative

The film features uncomfortable statistics, including that 74 per cent of agency chiefs are men, that women only apply for jobs they feel 100 per cent ready for while men take the plunge at 60 per cent, and that women are paid an average £12,000 less than men nationally.

The deadline to nominate candidates for the competition, sponsored by Hanson Search and Google, is 15 January. More information is available on .
