The company, one of the world's leading suppliers of temporary structures, was in action for the 17th year as the PSP attracted more than 125,000 people during ten action-packed days.

Three of De Boer's Jumbo structures - covering a total of 8,300 square metres - were transformed into the Ocean, Windward and Solent Exhibition Halls. The company also provided four Acropolis structures to create a brand new main entrance to the show, one of Europe's largest nautical gatherings.

The event featured vessels of all shapes and sizes from multi-million-pound super yachts to single-sail dinghies.

Murray Ellis, Director of Operation at organiser National Boat Shows, said: "National Boat Shows are pleased to continue working with De Boer to provide a range of structures required to meet the demands and continued success of the PSP Southampton Boat Show."

Meanwhile De Boer re-entered the worlds of interior design and art as it once again provided an innovative solution for two very different exhibitions held back to back in central London.

Two giant covering more than 11,000 square metres housed Decorex International 2009, the leading interior design show staged over four days in late September.

Thousands of visitors attended the event at the Royal Hospital Gardens in Chelsea, finding out all they needed to know about the world of interior design.

Organised by United Business Media plc, International has positioned itself as the UK's premier design exhibition with the event becoming a ‘must-visit' show for interior and hotel designers, retailers and architects to source products and view inspired concepts.

Cathy Oates, UBM's Events and Business Developments Director, said: "De Boer's high-quality structures allow us the flexibility to provide all the facilities that you would normally associate with a permanent venue."

Once Decorex International 2009 closed, structures remained on site to house the popular Art London Fair which ran over five days in early October. Exhibitors this year came from countries as diverse as Australia, the US, Hong Kong, Argentina, India, Japan and China.

The use of the same facility for the two events once again proved a highly economical, yet bespoke, option for the two .
