DatingDirect.com makes a date with women's websites

LONDON - Online dating service DatingDirect.com has strengthened its relationships with women's websites, with new revenue-sharing deals with newwoman.co.uk and redmagazine.co.uk.

The online dating service has also extended its existing deal with handbag.com for another year. The deals will allow users to get a date with one of the 350,000 users that DatingDirect.com offers.

This is latest partnership deal for DatingDirect.com, which also has similar arrangements with Channel4.com, Loot.com and Altavista UK, as it attempts to appeal to a wide range of internet users.

Jane Loring, handbag.com's advertising director, said of the deal: "We are delighted to be able to continue our partnership with DatingDirect.com. It's our relationship month and so many people are using the dating element on our site. We feel that through this partnership, handbag.com can provide a useful starting point for some exciting relationships."
