Dataforce wins £550,000 Luminar Leisure contract

LONDON - Nightclub operator Luminar Leisure has appointed Dataforce to manage its databases and direct mail fulfilment, for an estimated 拢550,000 a year.

The contract with Luminar Leisure, which covers 103 outlets nationwide including the Oceana and Liquid nightclubs, will initially run for a year and is expected to generate £400,000, with a further £150,000 income for providing direct mail services.

Dataforce will also deliver an integrated marketing platform to increase the effectiveness of both the central marketing team and the campaigns of the local marketers.

Dataforce was taken over by investment group Twenty in April last year.

AIM-listed Twenty has since acquired data analysis specialist Emaginating, in December 2006, and e-commerce provider Ominor in August this year.

Last month, Twenty reported a 33% drop in first half pre-tax profits to £233,025. However, the acquisition of Emaginating helped to boost revenues by 87% to £9.5m.
