The event technology company will be supporting the live campaigns around National Events Month as well as the umbrella campaign. This will include providing electronic registration for a celebration event for National Events Month, details of which are yet to be announced, as well as the campaign’s annual Parliamentary dinner, which will also take place in October.
Alistair Turner, campaign director for Britain for Events, said: "We’re delighted to have Cvent supporting the campaign this year, they are a recognised global events brand and have already been a great help in pulling together our events programme for National Events Month, October. With the support of Cvent the campaign will reach more people across the UK and around the world."
Brian Pirkle, regional sales director at Cvent, added: "We’re passionate about advancing the UK events industry and this partnership gives us the chance to support an exciting and far-reaching campaign. At the same time, we have a great opportunity to showcase our advanced event management software in front of an international audience."
In May, Turner told Event the inaugural National Events Month will have a festival feel, and will be split into four weeks, focusing on various sectors of the industry. This includes exhibitions and experiential; conferences and meetings; festivals, sporting and outdoor events; and incentive travel and corporate hospitality.
