Currys PC World understands that it sometimes takes a gentle hint or two to get the right gift.

Or sometimes what is required is a none-too-subtle, in-your-face flashing light display.

The retailer's campaign features people using traditional Christmas events and activities to get their message across to loved ones. Products on their wish lists include an LG OLED 4K curved TV, Bose QC35 wireless noise-cancelling headphones, a Bose SoundTouch 10 speaker and a Samsung Galaxy tablet.

Last year's Christmas campaign for Currys PC World starred Jeff Goldblum.
