Hosted by Virgin Radio presenter Edith Bowman at The Roundhouse in London, a total of 221 gold, silver, bronze and special awards were given for work created over the past year.
AMV BBDO won 33 awards, including creative agency of the year and 11 golds. The Omnicom shop’s "spare the act: laptop" spot, part of the Christmas campaign for Currys PC World, was given the Gold of Golds accolade.
The Mill was named creative production company of the year among the ten awards it collected on the night.
Tony Cullingham, the course director of the Watford Creative Advertising Course, was presented with this year’s President’s Award by Justin Tindall, the executive creative director of M&C Saatchi and president of Creative Circle.
Tindall will be replaced as president by Vicki Maguire, the joint executive creative director at Grey London.
Matt Deacon and Ben Fallows, a creative duo at TBWA\London, picked up The Most Promising Newcomer award. Their work in the last year includes Lidl’s "School of Christmas".
Jeremy Green, the chief executive of Creative Circle, said: "The Creative Circle strives to celebrate, champion and nurture British creativity, and tonight was a night to celebrate the very best work that our fantastic creative industry has created over the course of the past year.
