Countrywide launches its first DRTV campaign featuring Nigel Havers

LONDON - Countrywide, the veranda and glass room specialists, aired its first DRTV ad yesterday featuring TV and film actor Nigel Havers.

The ad is designed to generate customer leads for Countrywide’s in-house sales force, as well as to establish Countrywide as a brand within the home extension and improvements sector.

The ad broke yesterday on Sky's Travel & Living channel. Written by Tim Blackshaw, creative director of direct response ad agency Attinger Jack and produced by Mark Sheldon’s , the 60 second advertisement will run throughout the autumn and beyond.

Established in 2008, Countrywide holds exclusive UK marketing-rights for German-engineered glass rooms.

"To date we’ve been using off-the-page ads to great success, but feel the time is now right to branch into DRTV advertising, said David Attinger, managing director of Attinger Jack.
